Comet 1998 M5 LINEAR

Comet 1998 M5 LINEAR was a very nice telescopic object for northern hemisphere observers during late 1998 early 1999 when it peaked in brightness at about magnitude 8.5. Unfortunately by the time it was accessible to southern hemisphere observers in early 2000, it had faded considerably.
