16" f/10 schmidt-cassegrain at prime focus.
The 2008 return of comet d'Arrest was a very unfavourable one for the northern hemisphere. Also I was unable to devote much time to observing it due to weather and teaching commitments. The only time I was able to image it was on June 9, 2008 when it was still a long way from perihelion and therefore very faint. It was also located in a rich region of the Milky Way and as a result, the comet is almost totally invisible amongst the background stars. :-(
