SBIG STL-1001E CCD. 20" f/6.8 Dall-Kirkham cassegrain telescope at prime focus.

NGC 6940, is a large and bright open cluster in Vulpecula that is easily visible in binoculars. The cluster is so large that the above image only shows the central regions of the cluster. Near the centre is a bright red supergiant similar to Betelguese.
