NGC 6882

45 minutes exposure, Kodak Elitechrome 400 slide film.
5" f/5 refractor at prime focus.

NGC 6882 and NGC 6885 are listed as a pair of overlapping open clusters in Vulpecular. From just looking at the photograph, it is difficult to distinguish between the two clusters. NGC 6882 is the larger cluster of mostly faint stars, while NGC 6885 is a small group of brighter stars, centred of the bright star in the cluster, which is the 6th magnitude, 20 Vulpeculae.
