12" f/10 schmidt-cassegrain with an f/6.3 focal reducer.
Comet 61/p Shajn-Schaldach is a member of Jupiter's "family" of comets and has a period of just over 7 years. During the 2015 return it reached 15th magnitude and displayed a short tail.
