8" f/6 newtonian at prime focus.

NGC 5979 is a moderately small and moderately bright planetary nebula in Triangulum Australe, about 2 degrees north of the 2rd magnitude star, beta triangulum australae. The planetary is visible in an 8" telescope as a small, circular patch of light. It shows a good response to an OIII filter.
