NGC 5829 is a rather faint and small spiral galaxy in the constellation Bootes. I imaged it when it was in the field of an asteroid I was studying.

There are a number of faint background galaxies surrounding NGC 5829. Just to the upper right of the galaxy is the 15.8 magnitude IC 4526, while to the upper left is the 16.9 magnitude PGC 53720. Further to the upper right from IC 4526 is the 17.5 magnitude PGC 53703 and below this galaxy is the 17.6 magnitude PGC 53702. The galaxy near the centre right is the 16.6 magnitude PGC 1696364.
