NGC 5189

Combination of 2, 3 minute exposures, Meade 416XTE CCD.
300mm f/6 newtonian prime focus.
NGC 5189 is a very unusual planetary nebula situated in the southern constellation of Musca.
Although classified as a planetary nebula, it displays a very asymmetrical shape, very different from most planetaries. It is quite a bright object and very easy to observe in an 8" telescope.

Combination of 37, 1 minute exposures using a clear filter,
20, 1 minute exposures using red and green filters and 25, 1 minute exposures using a blue filter.
SBIG ST-9XE CCD. 8" f/10 schmidt-cassegrain at prime focus.

Combination of 20, 3 minute exposures using an H-alpha filter, 16, 3 minute exposures using Sulphur II filter
and 12, 3 minute exposures using an Oxygen III filter.
