NGC 4656 is an unusual-looking barred spiral galaxy in Coma Berenicies, commonly known as the "Hockey Stick" galaxy. It is a member of an interacting system, and the interaction has distorted one end of the disk. Moderately bright, it is not a difficult object for an 8" telescope.
