NGC 4365

SBIG STL-1001E CCD. 20" f/6.8 Dall-Kirkham cassegrain telescope at prime focus.

NGC 4365 is a moderately large galaxy in Virgo. In an 18" telescope, NGC 4370 visible in the same field.

In the image above, the bright galaxy to the upper left is the 12.9 magnitude NGC 4370. Towards the bottom right are 3 more galaxies. The top one of these is the 13.6 magnitude IC 3259. Below it is the 13.2 magnitude IC 3260, while in the extreme bottom right corner is the 12.2 magnitude IC 3256.
