NGC 4274 is a large and bright galaxy that is a member of the Virgo cluster of galaxies, even though it is located in Coma Berenices. 3 other galaxies, NGC 4278, NGC 4283, and IC 3181 were visible in field with an 18" telescope.

In the image above, the large, spiral galaxy near the top is NGC 4274. The brightest galaxy near the bottom is NGC 4278 with NGC 4283 and IC 3181 just to the left of NGC 4278.
