NGC 4273

NGC 4273 and NGC 4281 are members of a small sub-group belonging to the Virgo Cluster. In the above image, NGC 4273 is the face-on spiral near the centre, while NGC 4281 is the larger eliptical galaxy to the upper left. The eastern spiral arm of NGC appears to be distorted a little, probably by the gravitational pull of NGC 4277 just to its left.
