NGC 3750

Combination of 3, 3 minute exposures.
Meade 416XTE CCD. 300mm f/6 newtonian telescope at prime focus.

NGC 3750 is the brightest member of a small group of galaxies, known as Copeland's septett. The group is also known as Hickson 57C and is located in eastern Leo. In a 12" telescope the two brightest galaxies can be observed under dark skies, however to see all 7 galaxies at least a 16" telescope is required.

Combination of 10, 3 minute exposures unfiltered.
SBIG STL-1001E CCD. 20" f/6.8 Dall-Kirkham cassegrain telescope at prime focus.

The galaaxies in the group are indicated in the image below and then listed in the following table, along with details of several other background galaxies.
