NGC 3619

Combination of 5, 3 minute images unfiltered.
SBIG STL-1001E CCD. 20" f/6.8 Dall-Kirkham cassegrain telescope at prime focus.

NGC 3619 is a moderately large and fairly bright spiral galaxy in Ursa Major. In an 18" telescope, it appeared as a nebulous oval with a bright centre. There are numerous other galaxies in the above image. The bright spiral to the left of NGC 3619 is the 13.1 magnitude NGC 3625. NGC 3613 which is just out of the image at the top is visible in the same low magnification field.
