NGC 3430 is the brightest of 3 galaxies visible in the same field in Leo Minor. They are part of the Leo II sug-group of the Virgo Cluster and lie about 85 million light years away.
NGC 3430 is a beautiful spiral galaxy and is the upper left galaxy in this image. Then comes 12.4 magnitude NGC 3424 and finally 12.1 magnitude NGC 3413. In adition to these three galaxies, their are a number of fainter galaxies visible in the image. All of these are fainter than 17th magnitude.
