NGC 3245

SBIG STL-1001E CCD. 20" f/6.8 Dall-Kirkham cassegrain telescope at prime focus.

NGC 3245 is a moderately large and bright galaxy in Leo. In the telescope is appears elongated with a bright star-like core. The edge-on spiral galaxy to the north is the 13.9 magnitude NGC 3245A. This was not noticed visually using an18" telescope.
