NGC 2835 is a beautiful face-on spiral galaxy in Hydra. In an 8" telescope the galaxy appears as an even eliptical haze with a bright nucleus and no trace of the spiral arms.


Combination of a 3 minute exposure and a 1 minute exposure.
Meade 416XT CCD. 8" f/6 newtonian at prime focus.
