Combination of 15, 3 minute images using an H-alpha filter,
20, 3 minute images using a Sulphur II filter,
and 10, 3 minute exposures using an Oxygen III filter.

NGC 2818A is a small and fairly faint planetary nebula in the somewhat obscure constellation of Pyxis. It is interesting as it is situated inside an open cluster, rather like the more well known example of M46 and NGC 2438. In a small telescope, the nebula can be a difficult object. However in an 8", the nebula is fairly easy, appearing as a hazy patch, brighter at the ends, and darker in the middle, but not a complete ring.
