45 minutes exposure, Fuji Superia 400 film.
5" f/5 refractor, prime focus.

NGC 2547 is large, scattered cluster of bright stars in Vela. Although the stars are scattered, the cluster is an attractive object in the telescope. The brightest stars are B-type main sequence stars. The bright star at the top of the image, is the beautiful double star, gamma velorum.
