NGC 2537 The Bear-Paw Galaxy

NGC 2537, also known as the "Bear-Paw" galaxy, is a small but moderately bright galaxy in Lynx. It is readily visible as a spherical nebulous patch in an 8" telescope.

The large, edge-on galaxy at the lower left of the image is the 12.3 magnitude IC 2233.
