Comet Halley
December 10, 1985

Comet Halley. December 10, 1985.
5 minutes exposure. 3M 1000 slide film. 50mm f/2 Nikkormat lens.

By December, the comet was an easy naked-eye object of about magnitude 5.0 with a short tail. Unfortunately for southern hemisphere observers, the comet was rapidly decending into the evening twilight.
