Comet 2013 X1 PanSTARRS

Comet 2013 X1 PanSTARRS is expected to reach about magnitude 6.5 during April/May 2016. At the time that the image below was taken, the comet was around magnitude 13 with a short, wide tail.

By November 2015 the comet had brightened to around magnitude 11 with a short, wide tail.
