30" f/5 newtonian at prime focus.

NGC 1073 is a fairly large and bright, face-on spiral galaxy in Cetus. It is a member of the M77 group of galaxies. At magnitude 11.5, it is easily visible in an 8" telescope.


Combination of 10, 3 minute exposures unfiltered.
SBIG ST9XE CCD. 12" f/10 schmidt-cassegrain telescope and an f/6.3 focal reducer.
