Comet 2004 K1 Catalina

Comet 2004 K1 Catalina peaked at about 15th magnitude in May 2005. At this time the comet showed a well condensed coma and nice tail. However over the next few months, the comet faded drastically, and by the end of July, was below 17th magnitude.
