Comet 2001 C1 LINEAR

Comet 2001 C1 LINEAR was yet another faint comet discovered early in 2001. It reached perihelion about a year after discovery at over 5AU, when it reached about 16th magnitude. Strangely though, there are virtually no post-perihelion magnitude estimates. During June 2001 when these images were taken, the comet was about 16.7 magnitude with a well condensed coma and good tail.
