Physics
1408
(Principles of Physics I) OLD
LECTURES!!! (Power Point format)
NOTE: These
were developed for Physics 1408
in Fall, 2007. They are based on
the book"Physics for
Scientists & Engineers" by R.A. Serway & J.W. Jewett (Thomson, 2007), 7th
Ed. That book & ours ("Physics for
Scientists & Engineers" by D.C. Giancoli) cover the same
material. So, you might look at these to see another
treatment of the various topics.
Note: Some files contain special
Greek &/or
math symbols. Unless you have the proper fonts installed on your
system, these won't be interpreted correctly by your computer! Click Hereto learn how to

copyrighted & owned byC.W. Myles! No
reproduction &/or use of them other than by students in this
course is allowed! Downloading: Some
files are large! If you have a
dial-up
connection, this may mean long download times. It might
be more efficient to SAVE
the file & open it later, rather than open it directly.
It
also might be more efficient to go to the ATLC
(library basement), & use their direct
connections. I've tested all
files using both Internet Explorer & Netscape browsers, & all
work well.Introduction,
