Note About Saving paper when printing Power Point files Ladies and Gentlemen: The Power Point lectures run MANY pages so it would be convienient to have a way to print them out using fewer pages. Here is an outline of the procedure. I caution you that this may vary depending on the kind of printer you have. When a Power Point file is open, if you just click on the printer icon, what it will give you is one slide per page. HOWEVER, you can reduce the number of printed pages by the following procedure. 1. Click on the "File" menu on the toolbar at the top. A menu comes down. 2. From that menu, click "Print". This should bring up a large print icon with several options. 3. Near the bottom of that icon, there should be a line that says "Print what" with a slot for options. For my printer the options are "Slides", "Handouts", "Notes Pages", and "Outline View". 4. To get 2, 3, 4, 6, or 9 (small!) slides per page, click "Handout". Just to the right of that a slot should appear in which you then can specify option of how many slides per page you want. 5. Click "OK". At that point it should print whatever option you pick. The fonts, of course, will be very small. For an "old" guy like me, that would not be good. However, for younger people like the majority of you, this should be just fine. Charley Myles
