1) Consider a parallel plate capacitor with charge +Q one plate and charge –Q on the other plate, as in the picture below. If the side of a bulb were connected to one plate of the capacitor and the end of the bulb were connected to the other plate of the capacitor, as in the picture, would the bulb light? Explain.
