Congratulations to Vaia Papadimitriou, who was granted tenure and promotion to Associate Professor by the TTU Board of Regents at their April, 1999 meeting! An experimental particle physicist, Dr. Papadimitriou has been at TTU since 1994. She studies heavy quarks and is involved in the development of particle detectors at Fermi National Accelerator Lab in Batavia IL.

Congratulations to Ed Quitevis, who was promoted to Professor at the April, 1999 Regents meeting! Dr. Quitevis is a Professor of Chemistry and Joint Professor of Physics. He is an experimental chemical physicist. His research interests are in ultrafast spectroscopy, nonlinear optics, photophysics, molecular aggregates, membranes, and liquids.
