As everyone should know,
it is vital for good health to exercise! I try to do
this three
to four times per week, for about an hour each time. Fortunately,
Texas Tech has an excellent facility for this at the
with an olympic sized swimming pool. I prefer lap
swimming to other kinds of exercise. For at least the past 15 years, I
have been doing this almost exclusively. Typically, I swim 800
to 1,000 yards each time.
Recently, I have decided to supplement my swimming
with a trip to the gym at least once per week. There,
I use the treadmill, the various steppers, the stationary bicycle
and the machine that is similar to a bike, but you pedal with your arms
instead of your legs.
