Dr. Myles' Current & Future Teaching
Thank you very much to many for asking me to teach Phys. 2401 (Principles of Physics II) in Fall, 2008.
However, I'm not doing this anytime soon!

In Fall, 2008, I'll teach this course, Algebra-Trig based Physics 1403 (General Physics I) & a Graduate Course for Physics Graduate students, Physics 5335, Semiconductor Physics.

I'm also involved in the following activities, all of which count towards my Faculty Work Load (or "Teaching Load"):
          1.
Supervision of two Physics PhD students

2. Serving as a Physics Undergraduate Advisor
          3.
Serving as co-Director of the BS in Engineering Physics Program

4. Serving as Secretary-Treasurer of the Texas Section of the American Physical Society

NO ONE IN THE PHYSICS DEPT. KNOWS THEIR TEACHING ASSIGNMENTS FOR SPRING, 2009 !!

If you are required to take Physics II, I strongly suggest that you NOT wait to take it, hoping I'll teach it sometime! It's best if you take Physics II ASAP after Physics I, while Physics I material is fresh in your mind. Those who normally teach Physics II have a different teaching style than mine. However, all are good instructors!
